Bible Thumpers ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Bible Thumpers mobile application and web service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service.

We collect the following types of information:
Account Information: When you create or sign in to an account, we receive your email address and display name. Your password is stored as a one-way hash for authentication; we do not store the password itself.
Game Data: Your game scores, rankings, achievements, XP progress, and match history.
Profile Information: Display name, tagline, and profile photos you choose to upload.
Device Information: We may collect push notification tokens for delivering game alerts.
Usage Data: How you interact with the app, including matches played and features used.
3. How We Use Your Information
To provide and maintain the game experience

To enable multiplayer features and friend connections
To send push notifications about game events (challenges, match updates)
To process in-app purchases and virtual currency transactions

4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:
Other Players: Your display name, rank, XP, and game statistics are visible on leaderboards and during matches.
Payment Processors: RevenueCat processes in-app purchase transactions on our behalf. We do not store your payment card details. See revenuecat.com/privacy.
Push Notification Services: Device push tokens are shared with Apple (APNs) and/or Google (FCM) to deliver in-game notifications.
Advertising Services: Native builds can use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for interstitial and rewarded ads. AdMob may process device and app information to provide ads and measure delivery. Where AdMob reports that consent is required, the app presents its consent flow.
Service Providers: We use hosting and infrastructure services to operate the app.
5. Third-Party Services
RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscription entitlements. See revenuecat.com/privacy.
Push Notifications: We use Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and/or Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). You can disable notifications in your device settings.
Authentication: Account sign-in uses the app's email-and-password flow. We use your email address, display name, and a one-way password hash to authenticate your account.
Advertising: Native builds initialize Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and can show interstitial and rewarded ads. The app does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission; AdMob's consent flow may still be shown where required.
6. Push Notifications
We use push notifications to alert you about game events such as incoming challenges, match results, and rank changes. You can enable or disable push notifications at any time through your device settings or in-app preferences.
7. Camera & Photo Access
The app requests camera or photo library access only when you choose to upload a custom profile photo. Photos are stored securely and used solely for your in-app profile display.
8. Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure session management, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.
9. Data Retention
We retain your account and game data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and associated data from Profile → Account → Delete Account. The app requires a confirmation before calling the account-deletion endpoint. You can also contact us at the email below if you need help.
10. Children's Privacy
Bible Thumpers is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

You have the right to:

Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Opt out of push notifications
Withdraw consent for data processing
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by other means. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
